shall update a bit on what i've been doing for e past few days ba. have been very busy with a lot of stuff going on and a lot of things to do, heez, which is good! haha, love this kind of life man. though tired but at least my life is bustling~!!! makes me feel very much alive and happy~ on thursday morning, i woke up early to go for job training for the cold storage cashier. have to trudge along with a very big bag cos going straight to daoju chalet later after training. then was wearing this pair of new clog shoes with my poor injured pair of feet.. so painful sia!!! oh man, i really hate clog shoes, sports shoes were heaven to my feet!!! even the sandals with heels were better for my feet! in e end got bruises and wounds all over my feet, poor feet.. anyway, reach lavendar mrt to wait for the kelly services people to bring us to the training centre. originally, hooxy went with me to the training centre by cab as we were running late due to a latecomer. but on the cab, she got a call from recruit express telling her that her better off job at a company is confirmed so she left and i went alone with other people for e training. i was e only chinese there so i'm forced to converse more in english than i normally do. good in a sense la.

the theory training, is really sian!!! i almost couldn't keep myself concentrated and keeps fidgetting as the air-con was real cold. but i learnt quite a bit on the workings of cold storage which makes me a better and more informed customer shopper now, heez. :) i've learnt tt cold storage actually has a lot of policies that protects their customer and is beneficial to the customers de. like there is one policy that states, if u ever find an expired product in e store, u can get a $5 shopping voucher at e store for free, as a reward wo. haha, then there's one more policy that states that if they ever overcharge u on any item, u'll get another of e item free of charge and also the difference that they overcharged u by. so good rite? i din noe such policies existed la, haha, next time we all can be better shoppers liaoz iseneh? ;)

haha, there were also very interesting stories on some of the shoppers of cold storage, really bizzare and unreasonable ones lohz. there was once when this shopper tried to pay twenty cents with 20 one cent coins but was told that cold storage do not accept e coins anymore. then the person actually went and called up MAS to ask and when told only NTUC legally applied not for e rejection of one cent coins, she called up cold storage to complain and demand the manager at that time to make a public apology as the person felt embarrassed at the store at the time of purchase, lohz. -_-" haha, then there was another shopper, even more bo liao one. she tried to pay twenty cents using 4 five cent coins but the cashier on duty did not want to accept. so she demanded to see the manager on duty and eventually her five cent coins were accepted. that's not the end of the story oh, she went on to call up all her friends and relatives to ask them all use five cent coins to pay up at the counter of the particular cashier for one whole week. haha, poor cashier i have to say, just her luck to run into such people.

i also met friendly and nice people who trained together with me, there were 6 of us including me. 1 chinese(me), 1 indian and 4 malays. 3 of e malays are of the same status as me, waiting for a-level results. they are from pioneer jc, yishun jc and raffles jc. the remaining malay and indian belong to the lower end of the academic level, N(T) N(A) type. they were all very warm and we chatted quite a lot during our breaks. there was once when they were talking about the racial discrimination when looking for jobs. there was this lady who said that even if the malays and indians study until very high, they will still be at disadvantage when looking for jobs as compared to chinese. i was not offended when they told me this as i do agree that some sort of racial discrimination does exist still among singaporeans. esp in some schools. *er hem* we also talked about how lousy 7-11 stalls are in terms of e people they recruit and their interview. the lady was rejected from 7-11 because they say she dyed her hair.. -_-" it's like so easy to find some people working in 7-11 with dyed hair la, stupid reason lohz. i'm glad that i din go to 7-11 and work during my hols. :P after the 1st part, i got a call from anderson confirming my application for relief teaching so i left the training centre after that already, haven gotten to the practical part yet. so sad but nvm, i'm glad to be the chinese relief teacher that i always wanted in anderson! :) thanks yunli!!! =D

today went to international plaza with hooxy to sign up with different agencies for jobs. hailing joined us later when she finished meeting up with the english hod of the school she'll be teaching at for the 1st 6 mths nex yr. it was a real enriching experience for me i guess, it was the 1st time i go door to door to different agencies and fill up forms for temporary jobs. haiz, in conclusion, it is really very hard to look for jobs, especially temporary ones.. it is like you leave your particulars there and they may never get back to you la.. leave you waiting at home like an idiot for their phone call.. so sad.. but alas, got one promising job agency at international plaza that got jobs off-hand for both me and hooxy, kelly services. haha, it is quite a memorable experience at kelly services because me, hooxy and hailing sat for a typing test to see our typing speed that got us three all so nervous that we couldn't really type fast. haha, i keep typing wrong words and then have to go back and correct. also hoh, the keyboard like very hard to press like that. but we managed to complete the typing test and confirmed ourselves as cannot-make-it cadidates for administrative posts, heez. something happened when i was at the job agency office! hahaha, i saw meiqi!!! oh my god la, its like 2 years since i last seen her? she looked so chio and mature now la, couldn.t recognise her at first when she came into the office, haha. after going to all the offices, we decided to go taka for the last one, recruit express.

we signed up with the agency then go look for liting who's currently working at centrepoint robinson as helper. turns out she hasn't started work so we go eat 1st before going back to look for her again. we had a chat with liting, after which walked around then went home because hooxy wants to watch a tv programme, haha. =P actually after today, i finally got a part-time job working as cashier at cold storage of KAP.

haha, know tt this entry a bit lag but i would still like to blog about the drama camp!!! haha, this year is my 4th year taking part in the chinese drama camp organsied by hwa chong jc chi soc~! haha, think most people have no idea how important or influential this camp actually is. for me, it affected and changed my choice of jc when i was sec3. if not for this camp, i would have worn the grey uniform for e past 2 years. i would not have been in 04S73 or huang cheng and meet so many nice and great people plus juniors and seniors!!! haha, it may seem unbelievable but its true. so dun ever underestimate anything organised! haha. =P this year, i brought my brother along and i took part in the camp posing as a sec4 anderson student, heez. the plan was foiled as my dear jnrs didn't tried to hide the fact that they know me, lohz. haha, but in e end i still managed to fool e gals in my grp, wahahaha. ;)

although the number of campers is little as compared to my 1st and 2nd drama camp, it may seem pathetic to past year's snr but i feel that the campers are able to enjoy themselves more and learn more from the camp. the organisers are able to give more attention to every single campers which will make them feel more comfortable and more respected in a way too~! this year's camp was different from past year's as there's no dirty games this year. although a lot of trouble was saved, a lot of fun was also deducted in a way, which i feel personally is a pity. there's also not enough bonding among the groups for the 1st day but was better during the 2nd day as grp names and cheers are thought up.

another special thing about this year's drama camp is that theatre games are introduced, which is a 1st. it is really interesting and i think every single camper really enjoyed themselves, whether they participate and act or they sit back and watch. hope this newly added activity of the camp can be preserved on for future camps to come! =) there was this game called sit stand lie, then it so happens that me, my bro and my and jnr jingjie went onto e stage tgt to play la. haha, then we're supp to act a scenario where me and my bro got jie di lian den jingjie is my father lohz, haha, chao lame but also very fun lahz. hahaha. the other games all very interesting, they'll surely be on my mind for yrs to come de. ;)

then there was the candle light at e end of e camp, this year was much more successful den past years and they were able to take 3 photos continuously w/o any of e candles going off!!! haha, the whole thing looked very nice even though it's not night time yet. although the snrs got some of their fingers slightly scorched by either the lighter's flame or the wax of the candles, the end product was worth all the hard work and pain. haha, then after everything we snrs started clearing up all the candles and the wax despite cher n guangfeng begging us not to but we insisted. then after a while, the jnrs got everyone to shout for us to join them making us all super paiseh then no choice but to join them for e song session liaoz. haha, but we still managed to clear off all the candles and wax in the end after e singing. ;)

all in all, i really enjoyed the camp a lot, it feels like home to be able to go back hwa chong and have fun even though i've graduated.. it's also quite sad during the song sessions as i sing along and the realisation that i won't be taking 852 to hwa chong next year, won't be part of huang cheng 2006, won't have jnrs calling out my name at class bench.. hit me.. tears brimmed my eyes but i managed to hold them back.. i'll be missing everything and everyone in hwa chong de.. PHD.. post hwachong depression.. hahaha..

i'm sick and tired of organising outings for people when some people could not be bothered to turn up or just don't want to turn up.. those that sounded enthu in the 1st place telling me they couldn't turn up in the end.. it would have made a big difference even if they turn up and only stay for fifteen minutes than to never turn up!!! i also hate that people cannot be bothered to inform the organisers if they're going to show their face or not even! do they expect us to wait like stupid idiots at orchard mrt station hoping that people are turning up?! they're all 18-19 year olds, dont they even know the basic courtesy of informing the person organising and making her job easier??!! argh.. i'm real pissed.. dun even feel like going for e outing liaoz.. WTF!!! urgh!!!

5:02 PM

yea!!! i finally got to watch the movie i've been waiting so patiently and anxiously for, perhaps love!!! it is really a very nice movie, with lots of songs inside that strings the whole storyline very nicely. the main actors and actress are very good at acting and really brought out the feel and atmosphere of the movie really beautifully!!! although only jacky cheung can really sing very well, the whole movie was still very enjoyable and worth the ticket price. haha, i especially like parts of the movie where its sort of like a chinese version of moulin rouge de, with many people singing together and dancing wildly! haha, i watched the movie with yanwen and after the movie we went to plaza singapura to window shop around and catch up with one another. it was really great catching up with people who matters to you but you could no longer stay in touch with them as often. thanks yanwen, you made my day that day~! stay in touch ya? i know you'll read so do tag once ok??!! hahaha, waiting for ur tag to appear~~~ ;)

oh man, it feels so long since i last blogged and i mean blogging about what has been happening to me last few days/weeks which is a lot!!! i feel like i've went through so much that i'm now both physically and mentally drained out!!! oh man, i really have to agree that studying is much easier than working.. so to those still studying/mugging, quite sick to say this but do treasure the times while you have, serious. u'll start to miss it when it's gone, lohz.

anyway, let's get back to my hectic life since i last updated ba. firstly, my computer is finally repaired by me and myself, a computer idiot!!! oh man, so so so so so proud of myself!!! i finally made it without my cousins around to help or guide me!!! but i've to thank eugene for his disc without which my computer will still be gatherting dust on the table liaoz, thank you very much! but still got quite a bit to accomplish before my computer can be counted as fully functional.. haiz.. very very very troublesome but i guess i've to do it myself if not no one will.. like my cardreader drive.. still haven't figured out how to install so cannot access all my photos!!! argh.. irritating! so i can't post any of the photos i've taken for the past few months liaoz, so sad. especially the prom photos!!! also i can't send the photos to those whom i owe them to.. so so so sorry! i'll try hard and get my computer ok de! do be patient with me ya? :(

next up, my jobs.. have been going to tech point in amk with pork and pow to dismantle motorola handphones for 2 days in the past week. it is really very tough! only twenty cents per handphone! and each handphone has 16 parts!!! oh man, in the end after working hard for 2 days, 3 of us managed to dismantle 600 handphones, each of us earning only $40 each after spending around 13 hours there! meaning only $3 per hour!!! woa.. i can only say it is a sharp contrast from my mascot job la! so now, i've experienced both extremes of jobs, haha, not bad ya? actually quite cool too, got a feeling of how hard and how easy it can be to earn money. but hard is really very hard la, when dismantling the handphones, we didn't take any toilet breaks but only short breaks to drink water, most of the time standing throughout with hand working non-stop.. in the end the whole body was aching like hell! wah.. really very very draining, if given a choice, i'll never go and do such a work again.

then, prom!!! haha, think many people must be interested in this portion, actually nothing much to say since i don't have photos but i'll still try to tell as much as i can with the limited vocabulary and language skills i have. the rest you all try to imagine ya? haha. :P ok, prom was generally great for me, glad at my outlook, which wasn't ugly la. haha, i wore back my sec4 prom dress as i want to save money but with a blouse on top so that it looked different, clever hoh? heez. den i wore this nice pair of shoes that is the most expensive pair i've ever bought on my own, quite like the pattern and the shine a lot that motivates me to buy it in the 1st place. anyway, i can still remember the day before prom, i was like quite sian diao already, didn't feel the same way as i did during sec4, i didn't even recce how i'll be going to look like which i did when i was sec4. haha, but the next day was better as i started packing up for prom and the hotel stay afterwards. then went to a nearby hair saloon in yishun with pork to do our hair, manicure and pedicure! haha, saw eng eng also doing her hair there! she got a shock when she saw us, haha. then we waited for a chance to do our hair as the saloon is bustling with people!!! haha, then pork got to do her hair 1st while i waited patiently beside her watching her hair turning from normal to grand status! it is really amazing how a few brushes of the comp can make your hair look different all of a sudden! then it's my turn, really regret suggesting doing plaits to the hair stylist because it was a torture!!! it hurts so much!!! my whole scalp feels like it'll detach from my head when she was doing up my hair!!! then all the rubber bands and all the hair clips!!! wah.. really pain until want to cry out liaoz.. but at least i am satisfied with the end product! haha, 真的是爱美不要命,lohz. 1st time doing my hair leh! haha, glad that i did cause it was quite an enriching experience and definitely an eye-opener for me~ ;) after doing hair, do manicure and pedicure then after which have to be careful with my fingernails and toenails.

then at that time receive a call from soonkiat asking me to help hoifai pass hailing a bouquet of flowers during prom!!! so sweet iseneh? ;) then the both of us left for the hotel where the rest of the people were. upon arrival at the hotel, we started making-up and me, hooxinyu&hailing had the honour of having liting as our professional makeup artist~! turned out not bad wo~ haha, me happy with the way i looked on the night~! hahaha. :P then after everyone reach except wanxin and yingting, we left for ritz carlton walking together and to be frank, we do look very funny going there as a group, heez. wanxin and yingting was late because yingting was doing his hair..dotz lohz..set ah set..tsk tsk tsk..haha. at ritz carlton, a frenzy of photo-taking began!!! haha, keep on taking photos throughout the whole event la, in the end poor eyes blinded by all the flashes of the camera from the whole night. saw all the councillors: kailing, meatball, jingyi, yeowc, haining, wenxi&karin. thanks yeowc for telling me where to get tissue to wipe my sweat (because i ran up and down to get hailing's flower la) & kailing for helping me take endless photos (i'll remember that i owe you a treat de)!!! haha, haining didn't recognise me in the 1st place and was shocked when i called to him. haha, do i look that different? i doubt so, hehez. the food was ok la, though not exactly worth $80 of our money.. never mind, i enjoyed myself that night can liaoz.

as for the photo-taking session that lasted hours, haha, keep on taking and taking and taking. :P for the photo-taking, it was a 1st for me as i take pictures with guys standing close and 勾肩搭背 lohz. not all guys that i pose that closely with la, just some as it felt comfortable lohz. i never ever do that while taking pictures in the past de lohz. anyway, there're some whom you can and some whom you can't i realise. haha, depends on how well you know that person and how comfortable the both of us are with each other ba. i spent the whole time walking around looking for friends to take pictures with them and i took around 80++ pictures!!! haha, i only pity my eyes and face muscle. :P most of the time, people never care about what goes on the stage except when lide went up to fight for the most entertaining person! haha, he danced to the original version of 不怕不怕 and it was real cool!!!

haha, anyway, when it ended, my foot was killing me as it was the 1st time i actually wore high heels for 5 hrs non-stop walking around somemore! wah, really can die. so when i reach the hotel, quite a few of us just took off our heels and walk barefoot in the hotel, heez. in the hotel, me, liting, siyu and weisi immediately went to take a whole body shoot of ourself individually for memorial purpose. then is to return hairstyle to normal! it was really a painful and torturous process for me and liting!!! can cry la, so painful!!! each hairpin and rubber band taken out from my hair will cause a sigh of relief from me lohz. then go bath after which pack up then go sleep as really very tired out liaoz. the next day check out early in the morning to go home where i con't to sleep again. :P ok, shall stop here 1st. will continue again~ ;)

to all those who were chatting happily with me just now when i suddenly ended e conver abruptly and coldly.. i'm very sorry.. i didn't mean to do that.. just that the totalitarian monster at home is at work again and HE demands that i sign out from msn messenger at that moment or he will smash my computer up! haha.. he wins.. i lose.. he can say all e hurtful words he wants.. he'll only have silence from me as a reply! he is angry! i dun care, do i? hahaha..

haha, something light and optimistic now! shall talk about my 1st job experience!!! though i worked before as tuition teacher, but it didn't really felt like work as my students are all my juniors. then the teaching process was enjoyable and relaxing. however, last saturday, i worked as mascot at paragon. i was being the elf and there were also santa claus and rudolf the reindeer too. i was supposed to meet alvin, the person who introduced me to this job lobang at the reception corner of paragon at 1pm. i was at changi airport earlier sending the taiwan juniors off so went from there to somersat mrt station. i went to the heerens to go hmv to help jingjie check some stuff but didn't find what he wanted.. i'm so sorry jingjie..

then i decided to go paragon early in case i lost my way which i did as i cannot find where is the reception corner! pardon me because that was the 1st time i ever stepped into the paragon! i tried asking around for direction and none of them turned out correct la! argh.. in the end i managed to find it, it turned out to be at the other side of paragon la!!! but i'm glad that they were all very understanding and even though they spoke english, i felt at ease with them as they are all very warm and humorous! other than alvin, got 2 other girls called rebecca and jessica and 2 other guys called alex and trey. alex was santa claus while trey was rudolf. we wore our costumes which was real heavy and warm! after just half an hour of parading around in the paragon, all 3 of us sweated like hell la!!! my whole shirt was wet and dripping with sweat!!! then we went to a room and take off the costumes to rest for one plus hour before continuing one more walk. my role was more challenging as the face of the costume was at my abdomen so i have to learn to adapt to it and move accordingly. i also have difficulty moving my limbs and legs as the costumes was quite clumsy. but all in all, it was worth it!!! i had lots of fun!!!

when we were parading, there are some kids who got really excited and happy. there are also some kids who are really freaked out and started to cry after seeing us approach them. i guess i was the least well-liked character out of the 3 which is normal la, but there are also kids who loved me! haha, it was real satisfying watching them run away with radiant smiles on their faces after you hugged or shaked their hands. even though sweat keep running down my face, seeing the kids so happy removed all thoughts of hotness, uncomfortable and tired from my mind completely! it was real real real fun and the pay is super good!!! i only walked for 1 hr in total, stayed there for 4 hrs in total and i was paid $50!!! oh man, it was really a good bargain! i really hope to have more chances to do mascot in the future because i like kids!!! even if it means that i have to do if for free i would also willingly do so because the payback is.. PRICELESS! the other thing is that i also managed to make new friends with 4 very great people! haha, all in all, i really hope that i will have more such lobangs in the future!!! haha. +)

4:09 PM

ok, something happened when i was at the st.john chalet.. i was left alone the last night.. ok.. i should say i chose to stay alone the last night.. i was sitting at the bbq pit outside the chalet.. then this guy asked his 15 year old sister to come over and asked if we could chat.. under the influence of alcohol.. i didn't really think before i agreed which i very much regretted now.. we started chatting.. or more like the guy started interviewing(or should i say interrogating?) me while his sister sit beside him and talked a bit.. it was very obvious to me what his motives are after he started asking me if i'm attached.. if i've ever had a boyfriend before.. saying how he and his girlfriend broke off not long ago.. asking if i want to join him for a walk along the beach.. asking if i want to go for a movie with him.. keep sms-ing me after getting my contacts.. argh.. i am disgusted.. ok, i can say that the guy looked ok, but i'm disgusted by his approach.. he reminds me of bernard... *puke* i'll never ever agree because i already have someone in my heart! haiz.. it is so frustrating as i have to keep replying and try not to si1 po4 lian3 pi2.. i don't mind making friends.. but he wants more than that which i can't and won't give.. haiz.. someone help me? i hate this..

3:52 PM

ok, i'm blogging again, not because my computer is ok but because i am at my primary school friend, eugene lim's house now to use his computer, lohz. haha, have been going to chalets for the past few days.. it was really very tired.. but i guess it was fun overall. especially the 04S73 chalet, i enjoyed it thoroughly!!! it was so much fun, laughter, enjoyment and memories.. everyting i can ask from a chalet. although i have to admit there are times when people are just sian diao, but there are much more times when everyone enjoyed themselves to the fullest! i'm sure those who went would have agreed with me de! thanks to those who really put in a loyt of effort, time, money and brainpower on making this chalet a great one for all of us 043S73-ians!!! it was also very wonderful as every single one of 04S73-ians turned up for the chalet!!! 3 cheers for 04S73!!! i'm glad i went despite not being in the best health because it was worth it!!! =) all of us must stay in contact and have more full attendance activities in the future ya? ;)

after which, i went to my st.john chalet.. i'm glad that we manage to get together after such a long time.. i'm glad that we can still talk and act as if nothing bad happened between us before.. i'm glad that quite a few of the juniors turned up.. i'm glad that they did marvellously well in the competition, thrashing many other schools.. i'm glad that people enjoyed themselves.. but i'm not feeling any happy when the chalet ended.. probably because of the allergic reaction i am having due to overdose of alcohol.. i don't really have any idea... i just feel very sucky when the whole thing ended.. i drank 1.5L of tiger beer.. so what? why did i drink? nobody cares.. haha.. drinking is not good for the health.. the aftermath is worse.. but i didn't regret drinking.. because only when i was drunk, i can let go of restraints and control.. i can act crazy.. i can talk nonsense.. it was only when i was drunk then my very dear juniors finally take note of my existence.. haha.. how pathetic do i sound.. haha.. it was all my doing, i can only have myself to blame.. haha.. barbeque like hell but no one appreciates.. standing there despite being drained from working as mascot and travelling.. haha, but i can't blame anyone! because i chose to do so.. just me.. haha.. just me..

anyway, it has been laughter and tears, fun and disappointment for this chalet marathon.. i've enjoyed and suffered.. haha, i've attained a balance!~ hahaha.. that's the bad side of me at work again in this entry.. hate myself! talking nonsensical again.. don't bother about me.. i'm a hypocrite i have to admit.. hahaha..

3:25 PM
