shall update a bit on what i've been doing for e past few days ba. have been very busy with a lot of stuff going on and a lot of things to do, heez, which is good! haha, love this kind of life man. though tired but at least my life is bustling~!!! makes me feel very much alive and happy~ on thursday morning, i woke up early to go for job training for the cold storage cashier. have to trudge along with a very big bag cos going straight to daoju chalet later after training. then was wearing this pair of new clog shoes with my poor injured pair of feet.. so painful sia!!! oh man, i really hate clog shoes, sports shoes were heaven to my feet!!! even the sandals with heels were better for my feet! in e end got bruises and wounds all over my feet, poor feet.. anyway, reach lavendar mrt to wait for the kelly services people to bring us to the training centre. originally, hooxy went with me to the training centre by cab as we were running late due to a latecomer. but on the cab, she got a call from recruit express telling her that her better off job at a company is confirmed so she left and i went alone with other people for e training. i was e only chinese there so i'm forced to converse more in english than i normally do. good in a sense la.

the theory training, is really sian!!! i almost couldn't keep myself concentrated and keeps fidgetting as the air-con was real cold. but i learnt quite a bit on the workings of cold storage which makes me a better and more informed customer shopper now, heez. :) i've learnt tt cold storage actually has a lot of policies that protects their customer and is beneficial to the customers de. like there is one policy that states, if u ever find an expired product in e store, u can get a $5 shopping voucher at e store for free, as a reward wo. haha, then there's one more policy that states that if they ever overcharge u on any item, u'll get another of e item free of charge and also the difference that they overcharged u by. so good rite? i din noe such policies existed la, haha, next time we all can be better shoppers liaoz iseneh? ;)

haha, there were also very interesting stories on some of the shoppers of cold storage, really bizzare and unreasonable ones lohz. there was once when this shopper tried to pay twenty cents with 20 one cent coins but was told that cold storage do not accept e coins anymore. then the person actually went and called up MAS to ask and when told only NTUC legally applied not for e rejection of one cent coins, she called up cold storage to complain and demand the manager at that time to make a public apology as the person felt embarrassed at the store at the time of purchase, lohz. -_-" haha, then there was another shopper, even more bo liao one. she tried to pay twenty cents using 4 five cent coins but the cashier on duty did not want to accept. so she demanded to see the manager on duty and eventually her five cent coins were accepted. that's not the end of the story oh, she went on to call up all her friends and relatives to ask them all use five cent coins to pay up at the counter of the particular cashier for one whole week. haha, poor cashier i have to say, just her luck to run into such people.

i also met friendly and nice people who trained together with me, there were 6 of us including me. 1 chinese(me), 1 indian and 4 malays. 3 of e malays are of the same status as me, waiting for a-level results. they are from pioneer jc, yishun jc and raffles jc. the remaining malay and indian belong to the lower end of the academic level, N(T) N(A) type. they were all very warm and we chatted quite a lot during our breaks. there was once when they were talking about the racial discrimination when looking for jobs. there was this lady who said that even if the malays and indians study until very high, they will still be at disadvantage when looking for jobs as compared to chinese. i was not offended when they told me this as i do agree that some sort of racial discrimination does exist still among singaporeans. esp in some schools. *er hem* we also talked about how lousy 7-11 stalls are in terms of e people they recruit and their interview. the lady was rejected from 7-11 because they say she dyed her hair.. -_-" it's like so easy to find some people working in 7-11 with dyed hair la, stupid reason lohz. i'm glad that i din go to 7-11 and work during my hols. :P after the 1st part, i got a call from anderson confirming my application for relief teaching so i left the training centre after that already, haven gotten to the practical part yet. so sad but nvm, i'm glad to be the chinese relief teacher that i always wanted in anderson! :) thanks yunli!!! =D
