Today went to interview my mum's ex-boss for my sociology reseach term paper, and I must say I am super awed and impressed after the whole interview that lasted for almost 2 hours. He is a successful businessman turned entrepreneur who does personalised embroidery for companies but he only deals with the middleman, not the end user. It is a business tactics which I only got it after he explained very patiently to me and Mei Ling.

He shared with us his life trajectory, with specific references to his education and career path as per requested from our interview. I must say it was both an eye-opening and enriching experience hearing him talk. You learn new things and ways of life just by listening to him talk! You will also reflect on your own beliefs and principles and own ways of life by just talking to him. It is rather unbelievable but it is true!

I think when you talk with different people, from different walks of life having different types of life experiences, the interaction you have with each of them is different. And when you talk to people who have been through a lot and came out of it all being successful, you can benefit a lot. He even shared with us about his point of view on friendship which I will talk more in future when I have the time as it is really mind-tickling. :)
